    The invention relates to a menstrual cup comprising a hollow body (1) including (from top to bottom): an upper opening defined by a rounded peripheral rim (11); a hollow cylindrical portion (12) of smaller diameter than the peripheral rim, said hollow cylindrical portion being connected to a lower hollow portion (13) of smaller diameter and decreasing cross-section, which is closed at the base thereof and extends into a grip extension (2). According to the invention, the lower portion (13) and the grip extension (2) are provided with peripheral ribs (3). The cylindrical portion (12) comprises small holes (14) through which air can pass into the body, preventing the creation of a vacuum therein. The cross-section of the aforementioned holes (14) decreases towards the exterior of the hollow body (1). The grip extension (2) of the cup includes a hollow cylindrical segment (21) that terminates internally in a hollow head (22) provided with an end opening (23).

    [0016] In the utility model ES1073037U a hypoallergenic and reusable menstrual cup is described consisting of a cup-shaped body whose upper edge has a projecting rounded edge of the outer cup terminating in a circular ring-shaped area that continues in a form inverted truncated cone which ends in a pendulum finished in a solid spherical shape joined to the cup by a cylindrical neck, also solid, which at both ends presents solid rings of external reinforcement.

    [0018] The menstrual cups of this type present some inconveniences of use, especially in regard to their extraction, since to present the aforementioned form of cup and be formed into a flexible material on certain occasions can exert a windy effect.
    [0019] This suction effect requires applying some traction at the lower end of the cup; for this purpose, the aforementioned antecedent has at said lower end a pendulum having a solid spherical shape joined to the cup by a cylindrical neck also solid, with solid reinforcing rings. The solid character of said pendulum and of the reinforcing rings determines that the lower end of the cup has a greater consistency than the rest of the cup and that it may cause discomfort in the user during use.

    [0021] It should be noted, on the other hand, that while some documents are known in the state of the art in which alternative solutions are disclosed, the applicant is unaware of the existence of menstrual cups that present technical, structural and constitutive characteristics similar to those presented the menstrual cup of the invention.

    [0025] The monthly cup of this invention is of the type mentioned above and comprises: a hollow body, which presents in downward direction: an upper mouth delimited by a rounded perimeter lip; a hollow cylindrical portion, of smaller diameter than the perimetric lip and connecting with a lower, hollow, lower diameter portion, of decreasing section, closed at its lower end and extending at said lower end in a grasping appendix; the lower portion and the grip appendix presenting perimetral nerves to improve grip.

    [0027] This menstrual cup presents constructive particulars oriented to solve the exposed problem, preventing the formation in its interior of a vacuum that could hinder its extraction. Said cup defines in the lower grip area a configuration of less consistency than that of the aforementioned antecedent and which allows to reduce the risk of discomfort of the user during the use of the menstrual cup.

    [0029] Another object of the invention is to provide the perimeter ring, defined in upper mouth of the cup, a lower configuration that facilitates the extraction of the menstrual cup after use,

Menstrual cup; comprising a hollow body (1), which presents in downward direction: an upper mouth bounded by a rounded perimeter lip (11); a cylindrical portion (12) hollow, of smaller diameter than the perimetric lip and that connects with a lower portion (13) hollow, smaller diameter, of decreasing section, closed by its lower end and extending by said lower end closed in a grasping appendix (2); presenting the lower portion (13) and the gripper appendix (2) perimetral ribs (3) to improve grip; characterized in that it comprises in the hollow cylindrical portion (12) small holes (14) of air passage inside the body (1), avoiding the formation of vacuum inside; said orifices (14) having a decreasing section, preferably conical, towards the outside of the hollow body (1), and in that the gripping appendix (2) of the cup has a hollow cylindrical section (21) that tops inferiorly in a hollow head (22) provided with an open mouth (23) open.
